This data layer shows the climate divisions identified for Indiana. Climate Divisions are standardized regions within each state designating areas of similar climate regime.
This data was derived from a national shapefile of climate divisions in the United States developed by the National Climatic Data Center.
Attributes include the number assigned to each climate division (1 through 9) as well as the text description of the portion of the state composing the division (for example, "Northwest").
