Coal Resource Data, 2000 (Source scale is unknown)
Shows the locations of 9,117 public coal-resource data points. The coal-resource information consists of total coal thickness, depth to the top of the coalbed, and elevation of the top of the coalbed for 26 named coal members of Indiana.
The layer is derived from the National Coal Resource Data System (NCRDS). Detailed location and stratigraphic information for each data point are stored in a Microsoft Access database that is contained in Indiana Geological Survey Open-File Study 01-5.
