LAKE RIM WATER QUALITY MONITORING SITES 2005 --
Monitoring station locations in the Coastal Nonpoint Pollution Control Plan Area in Indiana, 2005 (1:24,000)
This point shapefile shows the locations for water-quality sampling sites from 1973 through 2004 used by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, the United States Geological Survey, and the Interagency E. coli Task Force. The point shapefile was compiled in order to conduct spatial analyses on the station locations as well as to perform an assessment of data gaps and the need and placement of additional monitoring locations. Attributes identify the location of each monitoring point, the stream being monitored, the station identification number, and the agency responsible for monitoring water quality at that location. An associated data layer is, COASTAL_NONPOINT_POLLUTION_CONTROL_BOUNDARY_NOAA_USEPA_IN.shp: HUC14 Subwatersheds within Lake Michigan Coastal Nonpoint Pollution Control Program Area in Indiana.
These data were used in the production of an Indiana Geological Survey Report prepared for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management entitled, "Final Report for Data Compilation and Analysis for the Coastal Nonpoint Source Management Plan."
